Our Covid Response
When the pandemic began, we had no idea how long it would last or what the outcome would be for our local area. In many ways, we have seen God’s grace through the trial.
We have reached more people than we have ever reached through digital platforms, connected with leaders through technology and stretched our mentality about how church should and can be done. Through it all, God has added to our war chest many things that will never be lost. We will never be the same!
After Governor Kay Ivey’s March 2021 announcement, we were happy to roll out less strict, but still safe, service guidelines! Please continue to read below for some of the areas that will still be a little different for Connect Church.
Several things we know:
-Not everyone will feel comfortable coming to church, and that’s okay. We will still have a “church at home” service available as we have through this entire pandemic.
-We will take EVERY precaution with sanitation.
-We will do our best to follow social distancing protocols. And we ask that you respectfully do so as well.
Below are safety guidelines for Connect services:
-
If you are sick or have symptoms, please join us online. If you are in a vulnerable health situation, we look forward to you joining us as you receive your healing.
-
Masks are optional for attendees so we ask that you continue to practice social distancing as you feel comfortable.
-
Offering will be received after service and we ask that if able you to continue utilizing electronic methods at this time.
-
Family are welcome -- childcare is available! More info here. We'd love for them to join our nursery or children's program but your children are welcome to sit with you.
Thank you so much for being the best church in the world, for supporting the leadership of our church, and for keeping us lifted up in prayer. We are here to serve you and Jesus to the best of our abilities.
We look forward to seeing you at Connect!
